כך חגגנו 50 שנות נישואין בטוסקנה לקראת מלאת יובל ה 50 באוקטובר השנה, הענקנו לעצמנו מתנה ובילינו שבוע ימים בטוסקנה עם כל ילדינו וטפינו. כולם טסו לרומא ובמכוניות שכורות הגענו עד מקום משגע בשם San Fabiano. זו נחלה הנמצאת ליד כפר מנומנם בשם Monteroni D'arbia ליד העיר Siena, המשתרעת על פני 1500 דונמים, ובתוכה וילה עתיקה עם 4 דירות לרשות האורחים. אנחנו מצאנו את המקום פשוט משיטוט באינטרנט. כשהגענו, כל ילדי משפחת ניר כבר היו במקום. וילה סן פאביאנו נטועה בנוף של גבעות ירוקות ואדמה פורייה בצבע בז'. מקום שקט וקסום. בכניסה, דשא ירוק ובו רשת למשחקי כדור, נדנדות ומתקני משחק לילדים. משמאל, בריכה וכסאות נוח לצידה. מימין הבית בעל 5 הדירות. האחת למארחים וארבע למשפחות האורחים. בכל דירה שני חדרי שנה, מיטות בשפע, שירותים ומטבח מאובזר ונקי. כל מה שצריך להביא זה בגדים, מברשת שיניים וכלי גילוח... בקומת הכניסה עוד מטבח מרכזי וחדר אוכל עם שולחן המספיק ל 20 – 30 איש, וכל הדרוש להכנת ארוחות בשפע ונדיבות. מאחורי הבית עוד ביתן ובו BBQ, שולחן פינג פונג שולחן אוכל וכסאות לשימוש חיצוני. בחצר גם כמה זוגות אופניים לשימוש האורחים.

We spent a most delightful week in this family run agriturismo. Frankly It exceeded our expectations. The place was clean, well run and peaceful. Our gracious hosts, Rachel & Fillipo went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met and to offer their assistance when planning trips in the surrounding area ensuring that our trip was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was spacious and well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was abundant and included seasonal fruits, juices, fresh croissant and freshly brewed coffee. We will most certainly return to this oasis of peace and definity recommend it to our friends.

We spent 5 wonderful nights at San Fabiano,last December. Rachel & Filippo are great hosts. The apartments are large comfortable and well accessorized. Prime location for visiting Toscany. Very recommended.

Dear Rachel and Philippo, Many, many thanks for a truly wonderful stay at your very special villa. The place was fantastic, but the hosts were even more so. The day we left you, last Thursday, we spent the full day in Lucca. The place was great but the weather was dreadful – it never stopped raining and was very cold. So, in hindsight, this was not the best idea. Still, all was okay and we returned, healthy and safe, to our home in Jerusalem. Ruthie and I truly want to thank you for your warm hospitality.

We traveled in Italy at July-August 2013 and stayed at Agriturismo San Fabiano in mid July 2013 for 4 days. We are a family of 5: 2 adults and 3 kids.we had a wonderful host in san fabiano - in the beautiful farm and marvelous villa, by the very nice and worm people: Rachel,Filippo and the staff. The farm (agriturismo) is located in a great place between Siena and Rome, (15 minutes from Siena) what made it very easy to travel in Tuscany and come back to the farm. We were treated by Filippo an Rachel as a family and were hosted like they know us for years!! In side the Villa we had two bedrooms, sitting room, completely modern bathroom and a full equipped kitchenette - with every thing which is needed for cooking and staying for a nice period of time. The Suite is always clean (every day) with endless hot water, Wi-FI, computer and much for to make you feel like home!!! For having more fun there were bicycles (15 of them) grand piano, pingpong, billiard, archery, badminton, all kind of balls, playground and more and more. As we arrived at the farm, Filippo came to us and spent few hours hours with us, walking us around the property' showing us the rooms, the farm' the swimming pool and on Wednsday he drove us into town, where the weekly market offered us the chance to buy chease , porchetta ,vegetables,fruites ,and roasted chicken. The small town Monteroni d'Arbia is a perfect location from which to explore all of Tuscany. During all our stay, we had a great hospitality- the best we ever got!! even much more than we expected.
